Maria is efficient, easy going, pleasant, punctual. I love the final product. Because she passes on her professional savings, it ends up being cheaper to use an interior designer than not to. Plus the results are SO much better. Couldn't recommend her more highly.

We knew what we wanted when my husband and I decided to extend our home with new open plan kitchen and living room but lost confidence when decisions became overwhelming and confusing until..... we engaged Maria from Schemes and Spaces!
She presented us with a design and moodboard that nailed the look we were after. She gave us options within our budget and did not make us rush into any decisions.
Her suggestions in kitchen colours/finishes and joinery were so helpful and so well thought out, I am now confident that the open plan will have great flow and balance.
Her design flare and ability to plan and source furniture, accessories, decor, lighting and even custom artwork comes to her naturally, and yet she is still a down to earth, honest person. Maria has saved us time and money!!

Our family bathroom was in a desperate need of an update.
Initially I thought I could design the new bathroom on my own but quickly realised our bathroom space was awkward because of the position of the window and the fact that it was built into the roof cavity. I was struggling with improving our bathroom layout but determined that it could be done.....
...... our bathroom space posed several design challenges for me but luckily not for Maria!
Maria arrived punctually to my home and spent some time chatting to me about my ideas, likes, wants and budget.

From there she designed a plan and we organised a couple of dates to go “shopping”.
The whole process was very smooth. I found Maria very easy to understand. She always listened to my ideas and thoughts and always had time to answer my questions in a way that I understood.

She introduced me to new products and provided options for me so that I could make a more informed and confident decision. 
Maria is organised, budget conscious, punctual and delivers as promises. 
I would not hesitate to recommend Maria from schemes & spaces as a design consultant.
